The Pentagon Federal Credit Union Foundation is a nonprofit organization working to ensure that those who selflessly devote their lives to the defense of our country have the resources they need for a secure financial future.
Pentagon Federal Credit Union created the Foundation in December 2001 because of concerns that too many fighting men and women faced financial difficulties while serving in the military.
- The Military Heroes® program provides support to those wounded in the war against terrorism, and their families.
- Dream Makers assist first-time homebuyers of modest means, who work in our country’s national security, with grants of up to $5,000 for down payments and closing costs.
- The Asset Recovery Kit (ARK) offers low-cost alternatives to payday lending while assisting military personnel and their families with money and debt management.
- Pentagon Federal Credit Union covers all the Foundation's administrative expenses.
- 100% of your contributions go to our programs.
- Support comes from the Military Heroes Golf Classic, the Night of Heroes gala, from corporations, foundations, military associations and thousands of individual donors worldwide.
- The Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization; donations are tax deductible.
